On Saturday morning, August 17th, 2019, Hernando County Deputies responded to an aggravated battery at Freedom Gardens Apartments in Brooksville. They found a female victim who had been severely beaten. She is currently listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
Her attacker, Timothy Allan Shea Kydd-AKA/Timothy Bates, 29, fled the apartments on foot and left the county. Kydd/Bates eluded authorities until he was captured late last night by Marion County Sheriff Detectives.
Kydd/Bates is being charged with Attempted Murder.
