BREAKING NEWS – Broward County – Thieves Go Fishing For Grand Theft Charges

Broward Sheriff’s Office Lauderdale-By-The-Sea detectives are releasing surveillance video of two male subjects involved in grand theft on Feb. 26.

At approximately 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Broward Regional Communications received a call regarding the theft of fishing equipment at a pier located at 2 Commercial Blvd. in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea.

Security footage shows a male subject wearing a black shirt with white and red writing, beige shorts and black sandals carrying three fishing rods and another male subject last seen wearing a white shirt with black graphics, black shorts and black sandals carrying a backpack, fishing rod and one red and one white bucket.

The rods are valued at $800 combined.
