Update: Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies have located the mother of a young girl found wandering in a Lauderdale Lakes apartment community on Friday morning. Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Deputies say they were called to the 2800 block of Somerset Drive on Friday morning regarding a young child seen wandering. The child is believed to be four or five years old. Deputies have been unable to communicate with her.
