BUSTED!
While West District deputies were proactively patrolling, they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and made contact with the driver, Jarnell Campbell (DOB 05/07/1986).
During the traffic stop, K9 Murphy alerted to the odor of narcotics and deputies conducted a search of his vehicle. Deputies seized 44.3 grams of powder cocaine, 8.2 grams of crack cocaine, and a loaded Glock 20 handgun with an extended magazine. Campbell’s vehicle was seized pending forfeiture, and he was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Deputies have charged Jarnell Campbell with Trafficking in Cocaine and Owning or Renting a Conveyance for the Purpose of Trafficking Narcotics.
