SCAM ALERT! Please be aware of a current scam in which criminals “spoof” their phone number to look like it’s coming from us (239-574-3223). They then use the actual names of current and former officers (found via publicly available sources) and say you’ve missed jury duty and will be arrested unless you make a credit card payment over the phone.
THIS IS NOT US. We will never call you like this or demand payment for anything. Hang up on these people; do not volunteer any personal or financial information!
