The Cape Coral Police Department is on scene of a traffic crash at the 1000 block of NE Pine Island Road. Westbound lanes are down to one lane, causing congestion back as far as Del Prado Boulevard. Please avoid the area for the next 1-2 hours and seek an alternate route.
