WATER SAFETY TIPS – With all of the beautiful local lakes and rivers we have in our county, we figured today, National Go Fishing Day, would be a great time to address some water/fishing safety tips.
Here are some things to remember in order to keep your family fishing trip safe and fun today!
-Wear a life jacket
-File a float plan (where you are going, what time you will be back, etc.)
-Wear sunscreen
-A neat boat is a safe boat
-Never fish alone
-Always have proper safety equipment on board (flashlights, map/GPS, cellphone/radio, visual/sound signals)
