TROPICAL STORM ETA – UPDATE #2
Collier County Public Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow (Monday, November 9, 2020). There will be no school for virtual students as well. This closure includes all CCPS sites, including school campuses and District offices.
Our area is under a Tropical Storm Warning, Hurricane Watch, and a State of Emergency declared by the Governor. The current projections keep Collier County in the cone of concern, with effects of the storm expected late Sunday night through Monday. The storm effects could bring heavy rain to our area, as well as winds that could potentially exceed safe levels for buses to be on the road (sustained winds of 35mph or more).
