As concerns about the fire threatening areas to the west, pay very close attention if you live in these areas now listed below by the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District:
Please be advised there is a high fire danger alert in the following areas that has the potential to escalate to an evacuation.
951 to Santa Barbara, Miller Rd to Goshen St, Woodland Grade Rd to Tobias St
There is NO EVACUATION for this area at this time but residents should be aware and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the potential for rapidly changing fire conditions overnight. Moderate winds are contributing to significant fire movement which is being closely monitored in this area. Please follow the direction of local on-scene officials and be prepared to evacuate if conditions warrant.
Evacuation refuges, with limited services are located at Max Hasse Community Park 3390 Golden Gate Blvd West and Golden Gate Community Center at 4701 Golden Gate Parkway. Ample vacancy exists in nearby hotels.
