Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Collier Program will hold a public meeting to review updated Final Management Plans for the following preserves at the noted times on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. This Hybrid Remote meeting will be held at the Natural Resources Building, Golden Gate Community Park, 3300 Santa Barbara Blvd, Naples, 34116. Some Board Members may be appearing electronically, with staff present in person. The public may attend either electronically or in person.

1. Alligator Flag Preserve at 5:00 p.m.
2. Red Root Preserve at 5:30 p.m.
3. Otter Mound Preserve at 6:00 p.m.
4. Wet Woods Preserve at 6:30 p.m.

The updated plans are posted on the Conservation Collier website at https://www.colliercountyfl.gov/your-government/divisions-a-e/conservation-collier/property-management-plans

Individuals who would like to participate in person must complete and submit a speaker form prior to the beginning of the discussion about the item. Individuals who would like to participate remotely must complete and submit the online speaker registration form prior to the beginning of the discussion about the item.

This Hybrid Remote meeting will be held virtually via Zoom or via phone. If you are attending in person, or need the Zoom meeting link or call-in phone number, contact Summer Araque at Summer.Araque@colliercountyfl.gov or 239-252-2979 by noon on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

At the meeting, staff will review the County’s updated plans for the specific preserves listed above. Final Management Plan updates and objectives will be discussed and comments, suggestions, and concerns are welcome. Copies of the plans are available upon request at the Golden Gate Community Parks & Natural Resources Building located at 3300 Santa Barbara Blvd. Naples, Floridaand by calling 239-252-2961.

About the public meeting:

One or more members of the Collier County Board of County Commissioners may be present and may participate at the meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future meeting of those boards, councils, or agencies.

All interested parties are invited to attend and to register to speak. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless changed by the chairman.

The public is reminded that the CDC and the Department of Health recommend social distancing and avoiding public gatherings when possible.

Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board, or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.
