The public should ignore a mobile electronic traffic sign that’s facing northbound traffic near Mile Marker 106 and County Road 905 regarding road closures this weekend.
The Challenge Miami Triathlon race planners were working on correcting the erroneous sign as of 11:30 a.m. Please help us by sharing this information, including on social media.
The correct information is as follows: The Challenge Miami Triathlon will be closing County Road 905 and Card Sound Road traffic from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 14.
Ocean Reef residents and workers as well as other locals, including delivery drivers, will be able to use County Road 905, but not Card Sound Road during those times.
All motorists will take the 18-Mile Stretch as a detour during those times.
Racers will leave the Homestead-Miami Speedway and eventually head south on Card Sound Road where they will eventually turn around, heading back to the race track.
