Hernando County- Absconded Sex Offender –

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating an Absconded Sex Offender.

On 03-25-20, De Andre Javon Waddy was involved in a Domestic Battery, with him being the suspect.  Prior to the arrival of law enforcement, Waddy fled the scene on foot.

Waddy is a Registered Sex Offender with an electronic monitoring device.  Prior to fleeing, Waddy cut off the electronic monitoring device.

At this time, there are two active warrants for the arrest of De Andre Javon Waddy.  Waddy’s physical description is as follows:

Male/Black
DOB/08-15-1989
Height/5’10”
Weight/184
Hair/Black (short afro style)
Eyes/Brown
Facial Hair/Mustache
Tattoos/Numerous Tattoos – Chest, Arms, Fingers, and Hands.
