Hernando County Sheriff Office – Backpack Drive-Thru

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and the Hernando Schools’ Parent Academy of Hernando would like to thank all the local businesses for their support of the 4th Annual Back to School Bash slated for July 25.

Without their support, this worthwhile event that benefits the youth of Hernando County would not be possible.

Hernando Schools’ Parent Academy of Hernando and the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting the 4th Annual Back to School Bash. Due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19, and the importance of public safety, this year’s event will look a little different.

There will be a BACKPACK DRIVE-THRU on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Nature Coast Technical High School, where families of Hernando County students can drive and collect a backpack for each of their children.

* Subject to availability and children must be present in your vehicle to receive a backpack.

Community healthcare organizations will still be offering FREE health screenings such as sports physicals, immunizations, hearing, and dental.

These will be available throughout the county. Further details on how to make those appointments will follow so please be sure to check for updates on this event page as we get closer to the event.
