Today, the Hernando County Fairgrounds Fair Association and the city of Brooksville made the difficult decision to cancel the 4th of July Firecracker Smash’em up Demolition Derby and Fireworks. As the number of COVID-19 case is rising in Hernando County, we feel it is the best decision for the community cancel the event.
We are postponing the Smash’em up Demo Derby to Sat. Sept. 12th.
If you bought a ticket online, we will be sending you a refund in the next few days. You do not need to do anything. The refund will automatically happen.
If you came to the Fairgrounds and purchased tickets, please come to the Fairgrounds today(Thurs. 7/2) until 5pm or Friday 7/3 from 11am to 5pm to receive a refund.
Thank you all so much for your support and look forward to Sat. Sept. 12th when we can have the demolition derby!
