Re: Detectives Investigating Early Morning Commercial Robbery – 2020-03852

On 02-03-2020 just before 2 a.m., Hernando County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Circle K, located at 3275 Broad Street in Brooksville regarding an Armed Robbery.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that as the clerk was completing tasks throughout the store, the clerk was alerted to the door chime, indicating someone was entering the store. The clerk proceeded to the front counter.
The clerk immediately observed two black males wearing light colored pull-over hoodies. The two males (suspects) approached the clerk, grabbed the clerk by the arms, and directed the clerk into the back room. The clerk was then directed (by the suspects) to remain in a restroom.
The clerk remained in the restroom until all was quiet in the store.
Upon exiting the restroom, the clerk observed that several cartons of cigarettes were missing, along with the clerk’s wallet and cell phone.
The suspects are described as two black males, both tall, approximately 6′ 170 pounds. Both suspects were wearing identical light grey colored pull-over hoodies over their heads, with the draw-string pulled tightly to conceal their faces. Both suspects wore gloves.
Being that the clerk was forced to remain in the restroom, the clerk was unable to provide a vehicle description.
