Hernando County deputies have located Kaitlynn Apgar.  She is safe/unharmed.

Original Information – 03-01-2020

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the public in locating Missing Endangered JUVENILE, Kaitlynn Apgar W/F DOB/10-24-2004.

Kaitlynn Apgar was last seen on 03-01-2020 at approximately 8 a.m., at her residence just north of Brooksville.  At some point after 8 a.m., Kaitlynn left the residence on foot, in an unknown direction of travel.

It is unknown what clothing Kaitlynn was wearing when she left her residence; however, she was wearing pink Converse sneakers and carrying a burgundy colored Van’s backpack.

Kaitlynn left two notes in her bedroom indicating she may be considering self-harm.

Kaitlynn Apgar’s physical description is as follows:
Height – 5’2″
Weight – 130
Hair Color – Brown (straight – shoulder length)
Eye Color – Blue
Both ears pierced.
