The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT.

Kathleen Schutt, W/F DOB/11-14-1979, was last seen on 08-14-2020 at approximately 5 p.m., walking in the area of the 8000 block of Epworth Drive in Brooksville. There was a delay of about 90 minutes in reporting her missing.

From there, information was recently received that Schutt was given a ride to the Walmart on Broad Street in Brooksville. Shortly before 7 p.m., Schutt was seen getting on a public bus headed to an unknown location.

Schutt suffers from numerous medical conditions and functions with the mental capacity of a six year old.

Kathleen Schutt’s physical description is as follows:

White Female
Date of Birth – 11-14-1979
Height – 5’1″
Weight – 230 lbs.
Hair – Brown
Eyes – Blue
Clothing – Blue jean capris, an orange shirt and carrying a black/multi-colored purse.
