It’s National Wildlife Day, which has us thinking about all of the critters we meet here in Collier County on a daily basis. Each encounter is memorable for our deputies, whether it’s with a turtle who could use a lift, a hawk who needs to see the doctor, or a butterfly just coming to say “hi.”
