Before this day, Sunday, comes to an end, an average of nine people will be killed in distracted driving accidents in the United States. An additional 100 will be injured.
Whether the distraction is technology-based (i.e. cellphones, dashboard touchscreens) or something as simple as eating or searching through a purse, the consequences that can result from distracted driving are life-altering…and often life-ending.
Make a pledge to yourself…to your family…to your friends to avoid driving distractions.
