Network of organizations conduct a 2-week long beautification venture within Charlotte homeless camps

At the beginning of March, a network of organizations came together to conduct a 2-week long beautification venture on Kenesaw St. and surrounding areas in Port Charlotte. This network included the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Keep Charlotte Beautiful, Charlotte County Solid Waste, the Homeless Coalition, St. Max Church, Jesus Loves You ministry, and the Florida Department of Corrections. Approximately 40 volunteers (totaling more than 250 manpower hours) worked diligently to remove trash and debris from the area.
