The latest episode of Shop Talk with the Sheriff airs during National Police Week. Sheriff Gregory Tony is joined by special guest Sunrise Police Chief Anthony Rosa, who shares a heartfelt tribute to our fallen heroes. Sheriff Tony and Chief Rosa also have an in-depth conversation about how agencies should be shifting how they police their communities.
Chief Rosa, who currently serves as the president of the Broward County Chiefs of Police Association, said setting the culture at a law enforcement agency starts at the top.
“There’s still a generation that trained to be warriors. So it’s our job as law enforcement leaders to make sure that our entire department, our entire agency is policing to the standard of the community out there right now, and that is, they expect guardians,” Chief Rosa said.
