Update – Missing Endangered Adult – Ronald Dean Boltz – Silver Alert

Update

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office received new information about the location of Missing Endangered Adult – Ronald Dean Boltz.

Mr. Boltz was spotted by a gas station clerk at around 3 a.m. on 06-13-2020 in Old Town, which is between Cross City and Chiefland.

The clerk said Mr. Boltz asked for directions to the Ohio/Michigan area. Mr. Boltz has family that lives in Ohio. The clerk added that Mr. Boltz appeared confused about where he wanted to go.

The clerk provided surveillance images of Mr. Boltz in the store.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from our media partners and the community in locating a MISSING ENDANGERED ADULT.

Ronald Dean Boltz was last seen on 06-12-2020 at approximately 8 a.m., when he left his Rialto Avenue home in Brookridge. He wasn’t reported missing until 7:45 p.m. on 06-12-2020.

Mr. Boltz was driving a 2017 Silver Buick Regal, 4-door, bearing FL tag/JVHY57.

Mr. Boltz’s destination is unknown.

Mr. Boltz suffers from numerous medical conditions to include the onset of dementia.

Mr. Boltz’s physical description is as follows:
White Male
Date of Birth – 08-29-27
Height – 5’ 8”
Weight – 150 lbs.
Hair – White/Bald
Eyes – Brown
