An independent crime blogger and ambulance chaser out of Hernando County, Florida has been arrested for Grand Theft.
Floyd Thomas Lemons III, better known as Tom Lemons, was well known in the community for his blog, Real News Real Fast or RNRFonline and his constant barrage of attacks against Hernando County Sheriff Al Nienhuis and the Dawn Center, a support services organization for victims of domestic violence.
About a year ago, Lemons sold the blog site. The new owner, who purchased the blog’s website and all the social media pages associated with it, agreed to keep Lemons as a consultant on a month to month basis.
After a few months, it became clear to the new owner that working with Lemons simply wasn’t a compatible or reasonable situation. As a result, at the end of November 2018, Lemons was released from any further consulting work.
After being terminated, Lemons managed to access the company’s Google Adsense account and transfer all or most of the money in the account to an account he controlled.
Due to the alleged theft of these monies, Lemons is being charged with Grand Theft. Bond was set at $5,000.
